2018 Patient Symposium – Save the date

The 2018 QCGC Research patient symposium will be awesome!!! Mark your diary for the 8 SEP 2018 for a 10 am start. The event is free of charge. The highlights of this symposium will include:

1. A number of presentations on life after cancer

We will have four specialist presenters on various aspects including …

• Chemotherapy
• Family and relationships
• Natural treatments
• Federal Government support

2. Immunotherapy

The Chair of the Australia and New Zealand Gynaecological Oncology Group, Assoc Prof Philip Beale, will present on Immunotherapy. Immunotherapy has been extremely successful to treat patients with melanoma, lung cancer. Philip will report whether this new treatment may also become a breakthrough in gynaecological cancers yet.

3. Research update

I will present what’s hot and new in gynaecological cancer research.

4. Question and Answer

The event will conclude with a Question and Answer session where patients can ask a panel of highly qualified experts and get answers.
